The process of project preparation and implementation, its main stages and points of decision. Application of life cycle approach and elements of Life Cycle Cost (LCC). The method of Dynamic Cost Comparison (DCC), its scope and objectives, fields of application.

10:00 – 11:45 | Session 2, lead by Ildikó Czeglédi, EWA WG Economics: Academic background of DCC (dynamic approach, life cycle approach, real term thinking), the role of time factor, cost-efficiency, LCC and sustainability. Parameters of the calculation, basic mathematical processes.

13:00 – 14:30 | Session 3, lead by Ildikó Czeglédi, EWA WG Economics: Calculation of Life Cycle Costs, present values, annual costs and prime costs.
